Praying is one of the most active things I do. I have just now come to realize this. Over the past few months, I have numerous times found myself throwing my hands up in the air and exclaiming, “All I can do is pray.” Early on, I would say that with anger and resentment. Lately, I’ve been saying it with a small, contented smile.
The memorial bench pictured here, and mentioned in numerous previous posts, has engraved on it “Good where we’ve been….Good where we’re going….”, the title of a beautiful Lakota coming and going song. I am so blessed to have learned to pay homage to that song and sentiment on my native flute!

Blessed with a long winter walk in Colorado, I found this stream of living water creating the rhythm for that song, and I experienced the Divine as I played. Creating a video I could share to honor that is my privilege, honor and joy.
How beautiful! Thank you for sharing this prayer.
