“All Saints Day”, by Carrie Newcomer
Take a few sweet moments to listen to this song – there is power in the sitting and listening.
Sunrises over the South Carolina coast are often so very spectacular. They must be caught early – it gets too bright to see rather quickly.
I was enjoying the song “All Saints Day” at the exact moment this cloud passed over the risen sun. The cloud allowed me to see the spectacular sunbeams behind………and I could not stop the gentle tears that flowed from my eyes.
I miss those that have passed the most acutely at Thanksgiving. However, of late, I am finding myself smiling more when I think of them – and I know that this moment on the Carolina coast was the springboard. I have been pondering the subject for most of November, and am so pleased to find myself feeling closer to the veil when I take the time to look.
What if a veil is not meant to hide, but rather to allow us to see more clearly what lies just behind?
Take a moment in the next few days to see some veils. I am starting to hope that they are everywhere.
